Welcome to the Town of Columbine Valley Municipal Court. Municipal Court has jurisdiction over Town Ordinances and Model Traffic Code Violations. The purpose of the information on this web page, is to provide the citizens with basic information regarding the court process. Please remember, Town employees are not allowed to give legal advice, but will be happy to assist you in any way they can. All criminal violations require a court appearance, while some traffic violations may be mailed in. If you have any questions regarding this, please contact the court clerk at 303-795-1434. If you are attempting to pay your ticket without going to court, this needs to be done at the Town Office. Requesting a Continuance. If you would like to request a continuance, you may do so by faxing, mailing, or emailing a request for continuance form to the court, stating the reason why you cannot make your original court date and that you understand that you must appear on the following court date (the third Thursday of the following month).
When is Court Held? Municipal Court is held on the 3rd Thursday of every at month at 5:30 P.M. Court is located at 2069 West Littleton Blvd. Littleton Co. 80120. Directions to Court
Plea Bargains: Depending on the violation, a plea bargain may or may not be offered. If box B on the ticket is checked, a fine and Mail-In plea bargain is being offered. The standard plea bargain is a 2 point reduction. This plea bargain can be obtained through the mail and does not require a court appearance. If you elect to take the Mail-In plea bargain, the following table shows the violation you will be receiving on your driving record. All payments must be received 24 hours prior to your court date.
