To get the most out of living in Columbine Valley, get involved! See below for various options.
Board of Trustees: One way to have your voice heard is to attend meetings or study sessions of the Board of Trustees. These meetings are always open to the public and include time for public comment. The Board of Trustees meets on the third Tuesday of each month.
Contact Town Officials: The Mayor and Board of Trustees welcomes your comments, concerns and thoughts. Voicing your opinions and ideas is the best way to influence the direction of Columbine Valley.
Run for Office: Another way to serve is to run for elected office. The Mayor serves two-year terms, and each Trustee is elected to a four-year term. Municipal elections occur in April of even numbered years.
Town Commissions: The town has citizen commissions that focus on specific issues. We encourage citizens to attend meetings and consider serving on these important groups. The Planning and Zoning Commission meets the second Tuesday of every month.
Volunteer: There are numerous opportunities for anyone to get involved, either with the Town itself or with your homeowners association. To volunteer with the Town, call 303-795-1434.
