Residents of Columbine Valley can safely dispose of some common household hazardous materials at the annual Household Hazardous Material Round-up held in partnership with the cities of Littleton, Englewood, and Sheridan each September. Examples of accepted materials are: batteries, gasoline, fluorescent lamps, motor oil, mercury and pesticides and herbicides. A co-payment is required to dispose of any materials and you must show identification demonstrating that you are a resident of Columbine Valley.
The 2020 event will be Saturday, September 12 and Saturday, September 19 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Englewood Service Center, located at 2800 S. Platte River Drive in Englewood.
